A thoughtfully designed mobile app that helps moms connect, share their experiences, ask questions, and feel emotionally supported through every stage of motherhood.

Problem to solve:

Mothers often feel isolated, lack emotional support, and don’t find relatable, safe spaces for honest conversation - existing apps were either too clinical or too chaotic.

Design objectives:

Build a warm, safe, community-centered experience.
Encourage meaningful conversations, not just passive scrolling.
Create simple flows for posting, sharing, support requests, and connecting.

Key features & UX decisions:

Emotion-focused onboarding to personalize support and group suggestions.
Community circles based on topics (sleep, postpartum, baby health, emotional balance).
Guided posting with prompts: “How are you feeling today?”, “Need advice?”.
Soft visual style, warm color palette, safe-space UI language.

Results & Value:

More engaging onboarding that immediately connects users with relevant communities.
Clear posting flow encouraged sharing and reduced hesitation to express emotions.
Positive feedback in demo sessions on feeling “supported” and “safe” in the app.
Buildable foundation for future retention features (habit tracking, mental support).
